Bogrim Seminar
Aside from the institution that is Shnat, Bogrim Seminar is the pinnacle of the Australian Zionist Youth Council's year. Affectionately referred to as "Bogsem", this three-day seminar is a chance for the 150 + Bogrim from the six tnuot hanoar of Australia to get together in an environment that encourages both debate and dialogue.
Bogrim Sem 2009 will be held in Melbourne and will run from the 28th – 30th of August. Should you have any queries at all, please feel free to contact the AZYC.
AGM
The final night of the bogrim seminar is usually devoted to the AZYC's annual general meeting. (See attached AZYC constitution) In the event that the seminar occurs early in the year, the AGM may be postponed till later in the year and will take place via video conference.
During this AGM, resolutions may be put forward to the chair who will then present it to the bogrim body of the AZYC.
Three positions will be opened for election at the AGM. They are the following:
- 1. Chairperson
- 2. Rosh Chinuch
- 3. Gizbar/it
All candidates must be nominated and seconded.
